Introduction of Hebei Xingtang (provincial)
Economic Development Zone
In July 2011 Hebei Xingtang (Provincial) Economic Development Zone was approved by the provincial government as a provincial economic development zone, the park’s total planning area is 15.22 square kilometers, divided into two parts of the South and North. The Southern District is located in the southwest of Xingtang County town, with a distance of 2.5 kilometers, adjacent to the Xingtang south entrance of the Jinkun highway. The total planning area is 9.2 square kilometers, governing 7 communities with a population of 12000, among which 1362 acres for industrial land, 40 acres for storage, and 27 acres for business and trade. The Northern District is located in the middle of Xingtang county, 5 kilometers away from the entrance of Jingkun expressway. The total planning area is 6.02 square kilometers, among which 890 acres acres for industrial land, 116 acres for storage, and 36 acres for business and trade.
With a total investment of 650 million RMB, the bearing capacity of the zone is constantly increasing. The infrastructure projects of urban roads, rainwater, sewage, water supply, natural gas, electricity, telecommunications, heat, cable TV network and site leveling（the nine connections and one leveling）have been fully implemented. Zone now has enrolled in 30 industrial enterprises, including 10 high-tech enterprises, 3 foreign-funded enterprises, 2 central SOEs. In 2015, the above-scale enterprises main business incomes achieved 19.6 billion RMB. Zone contributed tax revenue of 370 million RMB and ranked 40 among 213 provincial economic development zones.
Close to Xingtang south entrance of the Jingkun highway, 45 kilometers to Shijiazhuang (the provincial capital), 25 kilometers to Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport, 240 kilometers to Beijing and 300 kilometers to Tianjin port. With Jingkun, Shuo-Huang, Jingzan and Zhengfan highway going through the county, the Development Zone has gained a modern three-dimensional transportation network with highways, railways and airways. 2.5-hour traffic circle covers Beijing, Tianjin, Taiyuan, Jinan and other places.
2. Industry orientation
Southern District is mainly for high-end equipment manufacturing industry, new materials and energy saving and environmental protection, health industry and Northern District for green agricultural deep processing industries.

4.Goal of the Zone
Make the Zone as a priority roll to undertake Beijing-Tianjin’s transfer of industries, the forerunner of new industries, the demonstration area of innovation and development and important support to the county's economic growth. By 2020, the development zone’s planning area will increase to 30 square kilometers. The main business incomes are expected to reach 600 billion RMB, profit and taxes to reach 2.5 billion RMB, solid investment to 15 billion RMB, the actual running foreign capital 40 million dollars.
5. safeguard measure
Vigorously build the newest development platform. First, relying on Xingtang ’s 115,000 acres of jujube, with an annual output of 120,000 tons high-quality jujube, and dairy herds population of 94,000, with a daily output of 500 tons fresh milk and large quantity of walnut, sweet potato, apple, peach and other characteristic agricultural resources, build the Northern District into a "Characteristic Agricultural Industrial Park", a Beijing-Tianjin green agricultural supply preferred base. Second, closely connect with Beijing-Tianjin cross development, plan and build 500 acres "industrial transfer undertake park", focusing on the industries that are moving out of Beijing Tongzhou, Shunyi and Tianjin, accomplish a zero-barrier settled platform. Third, speed up the construction of Qingdao free trade port area of China Xingtang Functional District, focusing on applying for the establishment of import bonded warehouses, export supervision warehouse, customs control station "two positions" and "Bonded Farm", and build an international logistics center with the capability of customs declaration, inspection, bill of lading release and other port service functions, to create an open economic New Area with bonded function.
Strive to create the best development environment. Around the overall goal of "open passion, cross and exceed, build a beautiful and happy Xingtang", constantly optimize the environment. For the enterprises and projects in the district, the administration committee insists on the system of respective protection and quiet production.
